The boots feature the world’s leading water and windproof technology GORE-TEX®. Not only does this protect you from the harsh weather elements but it also allows sweat vapour to escape the boot, giving the wearer a comfortable experience. Another key feature of the tall leather boots is the DryFast-DrySoft™ leather construction, this means that water will dry out of the leather much faster than standard leather and it also makes for a far more durable feel to the boots. The Duo compound PU and rubber sole is directly injected onto the upper of the boot, this provides complete waterproof protection as well a superior grip. The cushioned footbed does what it says on the tin and more! It wicks moisture away, odour reduction, and fungus inhibiting by circulating air underfoot and of course maximum comfort.

Finding The Right Fit For You

Dubarry has covered all shapes and sizes when it comes to the iconic boot. The Galway boots are true to size so there should not be any need to go a size up or down and it comes in 3 different calf fits. There is the RegularFit™ which is for a standard-sized calf, a SlimFit™ which is ideal for narrower calves and lastly the ExtraFit™ which is meant for those with wider calves. How To Care For Your Boots

Even though Dubarry footwear has been built to last by using quality craftsmanship and materials, you still need to make sure you look after them in the correct manner. There are 7 easy steps for you to follow which will help your boots to withstand the test of time.

1. Remove any dirt and mud with clean cold water and a brush.
2. Apply your Dubarry footwear cleaner all over the boot and scrub with a brush to remove any ingrained dirt.
3. Rinse the boots down with cold water removing any excess cleaner
4. Allow your boots to dry naturally for 24 hours, never use artificial heat to speed up the drying process as this can cause the leather to crack.
5. Spray your boots several times with a Dubarry footwear protector spray.
6. Let your boots dry again for another 2-3 hours
7. Apply some Dubarry leather cream, this is to be applied only to the smooth leather parts of the boot, especially to the Flexi area that bends when you walk.
