The 500g Flaked Barley from Youngs is a vital ingredient to incorporate into the malt mix notably when brewing stouts where its use should make up no more than 10% of malt content in your brew. Flaked Barley can also be blended with lighter malts to recreate your favourite beer, but it should be restricted to no more than 5% of the total malt content of your brew when brewing paler style beers. It adds flavour to beer and improves head retention.
