Where are Lafuma made?

All Lafuma furniture is made in France. Lafuma have made a commitment to manufacturing locally to where they were established in Anneyron, in the Drome region, and according to their stats, 68% of their raw materials come from France, and 99% come from Europe.

Is Lafuma a good brand?

Are Lafuma chairs weatherproof?

Yes. Lafuma chairs are designed to withstand rain with quick drying, breathable padding, and fabric, as well as withstand sunlight with UV resistant fabrics and paintwork. Although if you want to go a step further to protect your chairs, Lafuma have covers to protect you chairs while traveling, or in storage.

How do you close a Lafuma Chair?

There are four simple steps for folding up your Lafuma reclining chair:

  1. Hold the backrest of the chair with one hand (above the head cushion)
  2. Take hold of the end of one of the armrests with the other hand
  3. Gently close the backrest and the armrest
  4. Then press downwards on the backrest of the chair, to fold up the leg rest

Can Lafuma chairs be left outside?

Lafuma recommends that you put them away after each use as this can help to extend their lifespan, but the simple answer is yes, they can be left outside in the summer season. Lafuma chairs are designed for the outdoors, with most of the padded chairs features a breathable quick dry pad, and the framework and fabrics using UV resistant technology to keep their colours sharp. However, it is never recommended that you leave Lafuma chairs out over winter as both the wet and cold could damage the chairs with prolonged exposure.

Lafuma Chair Colours?

Lafuma colour names come from the French names for the colours, which can mean that they are not always easily identifiable, and not necessarily what colour you’d expect – Coral is a dark turquoise! We’ve tried to clear up the colours a little bit by grouping them. Some of the variety and repeat colours stems from the variety of material and fabric types which are used for Lafuma products;
