Established in 1994, Ruffwear is dedicated to building gear for outdoor athletes alongside their human companions to ensure you have a care-free walk, jog or hike. With a strong belief that a dog's gear should perform as well as ours, Ruffwear uses technical fabrics with an athletic fit to aid in exploring.

Philip Morris and Son are now stocking a large range of Ruffwear dog accessories and clothing including Ruffwear harnesses, leads, collars, toys and hugely popular Beacon Safety Light. The Bowl that Started it all

In the summer of 1992, whilst mountain biking in the forest with his friend, Ruffwear founder Patrick Kruse found himself holding a plastic bag with water in for his dog, whilst he slurped away. Once Moqui the dog has finished, he was faced with a dilemma, put the bag down allowing the water to spill out, or pour it back into the water bottle, neither of which seemed like a good option.

Challenged by this, Patrick spent the next 16 months researching, developing, and testing Ruffwear’s first-ever product, The Quencher water bowl. Perfect for appealing to dogs by holding water and food, and packs away for easy carriage on adventures.
