We hold a large selection of Siku toys in store; if you're looking for a specific model, please don't hesitate to contact us and ask for what you need.
Siku farm toys have fascinated children and adults alike for over 60 years. Their range of farm models is as exciting and varied as the real world of agriculture. Featuring tractors, trailers, combine harvesters and farm implements from many of the most recognisable names in agriculture such as John Deere, Steyr and Massey Ferguson. Siku farm models are equally as popular amongst collectors as they are with children of all ages. The 1:32 scale of these models allows for great attention to detail and accurately reflects the reality of the world of agriculture.
About the brand
The Sieper company began producing Siku toys in 1950, after spending their first thirty years producing metal implements as well as experimenting with early plastics. They began by making plastic figures and animals, and in 1955 the first dedicated line of vehicles was produced. They were 1/60th scale replicas of actual vehicles, with perfect proportions and details.
It took eight years for the metal models to be introduced, and as they were so popular their last plastic car was issued in 1969. The now iconic Farmer Series was introduced in 1983 in the new 1:32 scale, and the Farmer Classic line (specialising in old-timer tractors) was added in 2002. Nowadays Siku are known as the diecast kings, as they produce a wide variety of scale replicas including cars, aeroplanes and farming vehicles. They have finely tweaked these models to be as realistic as possible (for example the Classic + models now feature tractors with 'aged' paint, for a more rustic look).
