The Marcus luggage range was introduced by Great British brand Antler in Spring/Summer 2014. It is a great value softcase range that combines a lightweight, functional design with a variety of amazing colours. It has two front pockets, and an expandable main compartment to ensure that there is plenty of room for all of your essentials. These cases also feature a TSA approved lock for your peace of mind.
Antler's soft-case collection combines 100 years of design experience with top quality materials, and the Marcus suitcase is no exception. The polyester used to create these cases are all a high or very high density (a tight woven 1,200 denier can be stronger than a higher denier fabric with a looser weave. It is also used on the range's matching straps and as a hardwearing liner.
How is a softcase made?
Templates are created using designs from the UK, and the chosen material is then laid out and hand cut. These pieces of fabric are then stitched together using high speed industrial sewing machines, that create strong stitching (perfect to keep your luggage secure)! Wire frames are then added to the front panel to give the case its shape, and the backboard and base are added for structural integrity.
