All Barbour waistcoats and gilets are manufactured to the highest standards, crafted to last a lifetime and should give you many years of service. Made of Polyester Fleece a knitted fabric with high warmth to weight ratio. Generally it's not very wind resistant and it is often used as a mid-layer but this is a luxury windblock fleece with waterproof lining. It is also Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treated to resist showers.
